Utilities One seeks an experienced UG Operations Supervisor to oversee on-site underground drilling crews across the region, providing hands-on training, coaching, and safety oversight. Extensive travel—80% of the time—is expected, with a company vehicle and travel expenses provided.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to read construction plans, maintain records, and coordinate with regional leadership to meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in underground drilling operations.
• Ability to read construction prints and jobsite plans.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly across multiple states.
• Certifications in OSHA 10/30, or NCCER are a plus; CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect underground drilling operations to ensure safety, quality, and specs.
• Lead on-site training and onboarding for crews and new hires.
• Enforce safety standards and conduct routine jobsite audits.
• Review bore logs, restoration practices, and path integrity for quality.
• Serve as first point of contact for field issues and coordinate with operations.
