Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Seven (7) years of experience in the field of Industrial Engineering or Construction.
• Travel approximately 50% with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Applies broad expertise to work on projects in multiple disciplines such as civil, electrical, process instrumentation and pipeline construction management with a high degree of knowledge and ability.
• Works with project managers, civil construction managers, and contractors to minimize soil disposal and ensure clean soil giveaway in compliance with PG&E policies.
• Manages spoil and drilling fluid recycling yards to support the 10k program and oversees planning for soil management.
• Tracks spoils costs and management plan for each project and reports statuses to leadership to ensure on-time delivery.
• Supports pre-construction in-situ soil sampling and interprets drawings/data for RFPs and contracts; assists with change orders as needed.
• Coordinates with inspectors, engineers, and contractors at the job site and mentors staff across levels.
