Qualifications

• Minimum two years of underground construction estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Proficient in Excel and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive bid proposals.
• Review plans, specs, contracts, and bid documents to determine scope.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for labor, material, and subs.
• Assess profitability and assist bid decisions with management.
• Maintain estimating databases and unit pricing.
• Ensure estimates comply with codes, specs, and standards.
• Submit competitive bids in line with guidelines.
• Coordinate with project managers and field staff for handoffs.
• Support in handling change orders as needed.
