Job summary

Benedictine University in Lisle, IL is seeking an Undergraduate Student Employee for Marketing, Management, and Organizational Behavior within the College of Business. The role is part-time and non-benefit eligible, located at the Lisle Campus, with hours 12-15 per week from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The position supports storage management, printer restocking, shuttle/delivery tasks for events, mail distribution, and document shredding, under the supervision of Derrick Walters.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled Benedictine student in good standing.
• Part-time, non-benefit eligible position.
• Hours per week: 12-15; Days/Times: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

• Know what items are in storage and assist professors with their requests.
• Check printer if paper is low or restock from Krasa; stock stationary items (3rd, 4th floor), Pens/marker/highlighters, Paper clips/binder clips, Stapler, Tape, Post-it notes.
• Key form request
• Shred student documents (transcripts)
• Deliver food for an event in Goodwin
• Deliver honor cords in Krasa
• Distribute any outgoing mail for the Business office

Required Qualifications:

Mustbe a currently enrolled Benedictine student in good standing.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Use of computer screen, phone and customer service.

May require bending or sitting for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The following of campus specific guidelines for pandemic protocols is required.

Training: As a University employee you are required to complete all University-specific and/or OSHA related training to fulfill your job duties. Specific training will be conducted online or in person. Employees must complete all trainings required by Benedictine University.
