Idaho State Treasurer’s Office is seeking an experienced Unclaimed Property Administrator to lead the UP Division in Boise. You will oversee program operations, ensure compliance with Idaho law, and manage staff while reporting to the State Treasurer and Chief Deputy Treasurer.

The role emphasizes policy development, internal controls, and stakeholder engagement, with a standard 8-5 weekday schedule in the Borah Building.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
• Five or more years in staff management.
• Strong accounting background required.
• Ability to analyze large data sets across several software systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; public speaking ability.

• Direct, coordinate, and oversee the UP program and staff.
• Provide policy recommendations and regular updates to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with the Idaho Unclaimed Property Act.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Create annual reporting instructions for holders.
• Manage timely processing of receipts and claims.
• Represent STO at outreach events and trainings.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and vendors.
• Advocate for resources and operational improvements.
• Consult with the Treasurer on proposed legislation.
• Oversee staff performance and conduct annual evaluations.
• Align UP operations with statewide STO policies.
