Job summary

The State of Idaho Tax Commission in Boise is seeking a Program Management professional to lead an application processing team that supports the Idaho Parental Choice Tax Credit program. The role is located in the Boise Office on the Chinden Campus.

You will supervise a small team, train staff, handle escalated issues, verify documentation, monitor systems for accuracy, and collaborate with other departments to improve workflows and document standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Typically met by at least 6 months in each of the following areas.
• Some knowledge of: program or project planning and implementation.
• Experience: developing and evaluating policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Training and mentoring staff to ensure consistent and accurate processing.
• Handling escalated or complex application issues.
• Verifying applicant responses and supporting documentation.
• Monitoring internal systems for accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborating with other departments or teams to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Drafting and maintaining standard operating procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members, senior management, and other stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed and on the same page.
• Providing expertise and solving problems that arise within the team or department, using knowledge and experience to find solutions.
