InGenesis is seeking an Account Clerk 3 to support unclaimed funds processing for our client in Columbus, OH. The role involves reviewing and researching claims to ensure compliance with state laws and regulations, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00am–5:00pm and no holidays or weekends.

The position requires two years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and meticulous attention to detail. You will communicate with claimants and reporting agents and maintain thorough documentation

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of accounting experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Examine, review, verify, and process claims for unclaimed funds.
• Gather and evaluate background information to determine claim validity.
• Ensure compliance with Unclaimed Funds laws and procedures.
• Communicate with claimants and reporting agents regarding claim status and requirements.
• Analyze reports, forms, and supporting documentation submitted with claims.
• Conduct in-depth research and process complex claims requiring detailed review.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for claimant inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the claims process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
