Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Surgical Technician (uncertified or unlicensed) for the Day shift in a full-time role. The incumbent supports the peri-operative team by preparing equipment, instruments and supplies and by assisting with patient care during procedures in accordance with applicable policies and standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; at least 1 year experience in health care or military medical setting.
• Meets requirements for applicable state(s) of engagement.
• Current certification as Surgical Technician from an accredited program (nice to have).

• Assist in the total peri-operative process and intra-operative patient care as directed.
• Anticipate surgeon's needs with supplies, instrumentation and equipment readiness.
• Maintain a safe and clean operating room suite and ensure documentation.
