Job summary

Requirements include a high school diploma, valid CA driver's license, and prior security experience. The position requires weekend availability and flexibility; compensation is $26 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Must possess one or more of the following: Associate’s degree or higher, military service, police reserves, or auxiliary police experience.
• Minimum of two years of verifiable work experience with strong customer service and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site post orders.
• Provide direction to subordinates on performance of duties.
• Cross-train officers to improve versatility and site efficiency.
• Recommend productivity and cost reductions to management.
• Suggest security surveys and post order improvements.
• Recommend personnel actions for those supervised.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and on-site training for the shift.
• Ensure contract training and screening requirements are met.
• Limit overtime to designated levels.
• Inspect personnel and performance to ensure quality of service.
• Assist in payroll, incident reports, and security surveys.
