Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Shift Supervisor - Unarmed in Arizona to oversee security for a high-profile client site on a designated shift. Responsibilities include directing officers, enforcing post orders, and maintaining security standards.

The ideal candidate has 6+ months security experience, an active AZ guard card, and a valid AZ driver's license, with the ability to work outdoors and stand for long periods. Pay rate is $24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Must possess one or more of: Associate’s degree or higher, active military service, auxiliary police or police cadets, or one year of verifiable security experience.
• Minimum of two years of verifiable work experience demonstrating customer service, poise in emergencies, and ability to follow orders and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
• Direct and instruct subordinates in duties.
• Cross-train officers to improve versatility and site efficiency.
• Suggest productivity and cost reduction improvements to management.
• Recommend physical security surveys and post orders.
• Provide staffing, scheduling and on-site training for security officers.
• Ensure training and screening elements for personnel are met.
• Maintain overtime at minimum or as designated by Allied Universal.
• Inspect personnel and performance to ensure service quality and contract compliance.
