Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Site Assessment in Sterling, VA. You will patrol the site, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Shifts are Saturday and Sunday afternoons; pay rate is $21 per hour. The role emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and following site procedures to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide security procedures and customer service at a technology location by following site policies and emergency procedures.
Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the facility and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitors, assist with access control and direct authorized personnel as needed.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow reporting procedures.
Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate with site contacts and leadership.
