Job summary

Allied Universal in Johnston, RI is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Hazard Observation Patrol to protect a technology-focused facility. You will perform routine patrols, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible, reassuring presence.

Job is full-time with night shifts; you will monitor access, respond to security concerns, and report incidents per site procedures to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors and delivery personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and access concerns following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and document activity, incidents and patrols.
• Communicate security observations and handoff information to leadership.
