Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Licensed Unarmed Patrol Specialist in New York, NY to protect clients across government and other sites. You will maintain a visible security presence and provide professional customer service.

You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, document actions, and coordinate with site leadership and emergency responders as needed. Requirements include a New York Security Guard License, at least 1 year of security experience,

Qualifications

• New York Security Guard License required.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, residents, visitors and staff while following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization as required.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate with site personnel and leadership.
