Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observation in Maspeth, NY. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver courteous customer service to clients across Logistics & Distribution facilities.

You will monitor access points, follow site procedures, and report incidents to site leadership. The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories in line with laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate with site leadership or responders.
