Job summary

Allied Universal in Minneapolis is looking for a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol on the second shift to join our team. You will provide front-line security, assist guests, and uphold site policies in a hotel and resort environment while maintaining a visible, welcoming presence.

As part of Allied Universal, you’ll deliver exceptional customer service, perform regular patrols, respond to incidents professionally, and document observations for site leadership.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel and resort areas to identify and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and guest concerns in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized entry and support a welcoming environment.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate information to leadership and site representatives.
