Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Armed guard card or license is required.
• 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training participation.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location per site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with internal contacts and emergency responders.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities and communicate to leadership and site reps.
