Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Alarm Panel in Fort Wayne, IN. This full-time position requires a valid driver's license, involves patrolling a construction site, monitoring access, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will work a four-evening schedule, with a pay rate of $21.16 per hour, and you will join a team that values integrity, reliability and a caring culture, plus training and benefits.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a construction location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the construction site, perimeter, entry points, parking areas, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing visitors, contractors, deliveries, and vehicles, and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
