Job summary

Allied Universal, Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control. You will serve and safeguard clients, provide excellent customer service, and enforce site security procedures at a construction-related location.

You will monitor access points, conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, and work zones, and report observations with integrity to Allied Universal leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed positions; 21+ for armed roles; licensing as required by state/local laws.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen per law.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with visitors and site personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including the business, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and construction work zones.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established emergency procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
