Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Fort Wayne, IN. You will safeguard clients across tech/media/telecom environments, perform patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Position Type: Full Time with a pay rate of $17.75 per hour. Schedule includes daytime shifts and weekends as listed.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background checks and drug screening required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including offices and parking areas.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report observations.
• Help deter unauthorized activity through professional presence and timely reporting.
