Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer – Loss Prevention Patrol in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will monitor a construction site, deter unauthorized activity, and provide professional customer service while patrolling and observing access points.

Position is full-time with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour. You will perform daily day shifts, monitor alarms, document incidents, and communicate with site leadership. Minimum requirements include HS diploma and background check.

Qualifications

• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Site has limited on-site facilities (port-a-potties, rustic guard shacks).
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, visitors, and employees at the site.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction areas and access points.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, report unauthorized persons or activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following emergency procedures.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate observations to site contacts.
