Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Care in JACKSONVILLE, FL. You will provide customer service, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents at a commercial real estate site.

The role starts as Full Time with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour and a weekly schedule from Tue to Sat, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. You will assist tenants, visitors, and clients, follow site procedures, and document incidents while maintaining professionalism and safety.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and unusual activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems in accordance with site policies; verify authorized access and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with property management, tenants, and responding emergency personnel.
