Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and clients by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems; verify authorized access and report discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally; document observations and actions.
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports and communicate with property management and tenants.

As a Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and unusual activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems in accordance with site policies; verify authorized access and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with property management, tenants, and responding emergency personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
