Job summary

Inner Parish Security Corporation in Jennings, LA is seeking armed security officers for 2nd shift to patrol and protect client sites. Training and registration are provided; pay rate is $11.00 per hour, with weekly pay and a schedule 3 pm–11 pm, Monday through Friday.

We require candidates to be 21+ years old, pass a background check and drug screening, stand for long periods, have reliable transportation and an active cellphone. IPSC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting for a security gig!

IPSC is currently hiring Security Officers in the Jennings Area.

Training and Registration is Provided .

Pay rate $11.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Schedule:3 pm - 11 pm Monday - Friday

Requirements:

Must be 21 years or older, be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to tolerate cigarette smoke.

• Willingness and ability to work to a flexible roster, 7 days a week.
• Willing to work multiple locations.
• Reliable transportation.
• Active cellphone.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Clean criminal background.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.

Duties:

• Observes and verifies all guest for age restrictions.
• Reports any security-related incidents, hazards.
• Documents nightly operations and files weekly reports.
• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.
• A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.
• A Security Officer must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required.
• A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.)
• A Security Officer must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit.
• A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.
• A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency.
• A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work. Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed.
