Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Security Officer Unarmed Asset Protection in University Park, IL. You will patrol facilities, deter incidents, and deliver customer service while following site procedures.

A valid driver’s license is required to operate at driving posts and comply with the company policy. Minimum requirements include being 18+, having a high school diploma or equivalent, and passing background checks and drug screening as permitted by law.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered as allowed by law.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols to deter incidents and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following escalation procedures.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately in line with site requirements.
