Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 for armed roles.
• Background investigation per laws.
• Drug screen per law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by following security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other events calmly and notify appropriate responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor inquiries and enforcement of rules.
• Prepare clear incident reports and patrol logs according to procedures.
