Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol, License Compliance) in San Jose, CA. You will monitor tech site areas, deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding safety and integrity.

This full-time role offers night shifts, a pay rate of $19.61 per hour, and opportunities to grow within a leading security company serving diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience preferred.
• Customer Service Experience preferred.
• X-Ray Screening Experience preferred.
• State/County/City Security License preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology/semiconductor site by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, escalating as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry/exit activity, verify access, and maintain logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and operational concerns with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
