Qualifications

• New York State Security Guard License required.

• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Background investigation and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements comply with state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify responders as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, report unusual activity, and maintain daily activity logs.
• Communicate professionally to staff, visitors, and public-agency personnel.
