Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to patrol client sites in Town of Hempstead, NY, ensuring the safety of people and property. The role requires standing for most of the shift and reporting any irregularities promptly.

The ideal candidate holds a valid NYS Security Guard License, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. English communication skills are essential for daily operations and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to understand and communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to stand for the majority of the workday.
• 5–7 years U.S. work history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 2000 PM - 0400 AM

Pay Range

Up to USD $18.50/Hr.
