Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to observe and report activities at an assigned client site, conduct periodic patrols, and enforce site regulations to protect people and property.

The role requires standing for the majority of the shift and effective communication in English. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with a pay range up to $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• NYS Security Guard License required.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to understand English and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities at the client site to protect people and property.
• Perform periodic patrols and monitor access points and surveillance as directed.
• Complete reports with observations and incidents, interviewing witnesses when needed.
• Carry out tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

TUESDAY - SATURDAY 1500 -2300 (40 HRS)

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must have valid drivers license
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
