Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated security officer to observe and report at an assigned client site, perform regular patrols, preserve order, and enforce regulations to protect people, property, and the client’s peace of mind.

Responsibilities include reporting irregularities and securing premises against breaches. Shifts vary (including nights and weekends); starting pay is USD 18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 year U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in English, with strong verbal and written communication.
• Physically capable of performing the job duties.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 0000x0800 (40 hrs.)

Saturday & Sunday 0800x1600, Monday & Tuesday 1600x0000 (32 hrs.)

Wednesday - Sunday, 1600x0000 (40 hrs.)

Saturday & Sunday, 0000x0800 (16 hrs.)

Pay Range

Starting from USD $18.50/Hr.
