Job summary

SCIS is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed - Energy Services) to protect client property, visitors and personnel at assigned sites. Under supervision, you will observe, report, and enforce site regulations, control access, and maintain safety through vigilant patrols and clear communication.

Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 21 years of age, with prior security or related experience.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma / GED.
• Experience in physical security, military service, law enforcement or related field.

Responsibilities

• Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
• Monitors entrances and exits and prevents unauthorized entry.
• Patrols assigned site and checks for hazards, security violations.
• Prepares logs or reports using standard grammar and computer entry.
• Observes and reports incidents to client representatives and management.
• Responds to emergencies following site procedures.
