Job summary

SCIS is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed) to safeguard client sites and assets at assigned locations. You will observe, report incidents, and enforce site access controls while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor with staff and visitors.

Qualified applicants are 21+, with a high school diploma or GED, and must meet licensing and background-check requirements. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred; you may be required to work varied shifts and respond to emergencies per site

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Background checks and drug testing may be required.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for security personnel.
• CPR/First Aid certification may be required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned sites to ensure safety of client property, visitors and staff.
• Monitor entrances and exits; control access and preclude unauthorized entry; operate gates and CCTV as directed.
• Prepare logs or reports; maintain accurate records of incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to emergencies per established site procedures and coordinate with safety authorities when needed.
