Job summary

SCIS is seeking an Armed Security Officer to safeguard high-profile sites, observe and report activities, and respond to incidents per site protocol. You will control access, monitor entrances, and maintain safety for visitors and personnel while enforcing regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required; armed security licensing as required by state.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required or must be obtained.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; professional conduct.
• Willingness to work overtime and in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Control access to client site and facilities; manage admittance.
• Respond to emergencies and follow escalation protocols for armed security.
• Maintain a courteous, professional image of the client’s security department.
• Monitor entrances/exits and supervise vehicle/pedestrian movement.
• Patrol assigned site; identify hazards and security violations.
• Prepare logs/reports and document incidents clearly.
