Job summary

SCIS is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to observe and report at an assigned client site, help maintain safety, and deter security incidents.

You will patrol, monitor entrances, log activities, and respond to emergencies following site procedures. Essential functions include access control, incident reporting, and enforcing safety rules.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, willingness to obtain required certifications, and strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Controls access to the client site via admittance process and screens visitors.
• Patrols the site on foot or by vehicle to detect hazards and security violations.
• Monitors entry/exit points, CCTV, and remote access devices.
• Responds to incidents following site procedures and directs others as needed.
• Prepares logs, reports, and documents incidents with clear writing.
