Job summary

Doyle Security Services in New York is seeking a vigilant Security Guard to protect client property and personnel at an assigned site. You will observe, report, and patrol, ensuring compliance with interior and exterior security procedures.

The role requires standing most of the day, weekend availability, and excellent customer service, with benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401K and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Pay Range

Up to USD $22.00/Hr.
