Job summary

Marksman Security Corporation in Durham, NC is hiring unarmed Security Officers for FT first shift (9am - 6pm) with a rotating schedule. Pay is $16.00 per hour, and the role includes customer service, access control, logs, and patrols to maintain a safe environment.

Required qualifications include being 21+, 1 year security experience, a valid driver’s license with clean history, a HS diploma/GED, and a TN Security License. Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum one year of security experience.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving history.
• High School diploma or GED.
• TN Security License Required.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned
