Job summary

Marksman Security Corporation is seeking unarmed Security Officers in Boone, NC. The role offers a 9am–6pm first shift with a rotating schedule and a pay rate of $18.25 per hour. Responsibilities include access control, patrols, incident response, and excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates are 21+, with at least 1 year security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a NC PPSB security license. Pre-employment screening and physical requirements apply; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum one year of security experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
• High School diploma or GED.
• NC PPSB Security License required.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to meet physical functions of the job (lifting 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs, inclement weather)

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties on duty.
• Maintain clear, accurate logs at front desk for people and property.
• Control access for tenants, visitors, or vendors as required.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to deter theft and maintain safety.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies and document data for management.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum one year of security experience required.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving history Required
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• NC PPSB Security License Required
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
