Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking unarmed security officers to protect client properties in Huntersville, NC. You will provide excellent customer service, monitor patrols, control access, and respond to incidents on site.

We offer part-time and full-time opportunities with shift options (2nd and 3rd shifts on Fridays, Thursdays-Saturdays, and Wednesday-Sunday 2nd shift). Employment includes PTO, holidays, medical/dental insurance and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid North Carolina PPSB security guard card/license.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must meet physical requirements (lifting up to 75 lbs, long patrols, stairs, inclement weather).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service on duty.
• Conduct general patrols on foot and in vehicle.
• Control access for patrons, visitors, or vendors.
• Monitor security cameras and deter theft; maintain safe environment.
• Maintain logs of people and property; respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

AVAILABLE FT SHIFT: Wednesday - Sunday, 2nd shift

Responsibilities

of Unarmed Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Conduct general patrols on foot and within a vehicle to check for security violations like unsafe conditions or unauthorized persons
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid North Carolina PPSB security guard card/license
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 75 lbs, completing foot patrols, sitting, standing, walking, driving for a significant period of time, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a security officer or in a customer service, retail, hotel or restaurant position
• Bi-lingual considered a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
