Job summary

Marksman Security in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a dedicated security officer to protect people and property on site. You will perform foot and vehicle patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with vigilance and professionalism.

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour with benefits, PTO and opportunities for advancement. The role requires clear logging, reliability, and good communication in English while serving a variety of clients on site.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to meet physical essential functions (lift 75 lbs, patrol, stairs, inclement weather).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties while on duty.
• Conduct general patrols on foot and by vehicle to check for security violations.
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor cameras and patrol to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain clear logs pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Respond to incidents and record data for management.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Conduct general patrols on foot and within a vehicle to check for security violations like unsafe conditions or unauthorized persons
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a Valid Driver's License
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 75 lbs, completing foot patrols, sitting, standing, walking, driving for a significant period of time, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a security officer or in a customer service, retail, hotel or restaurant position
• Bi-lingual considered a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
