Marksman Security Corporation in Boone, NC is hiring Unarmed Security Officers for 1st shift (9am – 6pm). The position pays $18.25 per hour and operates on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, maintaining logs at the front desk, controlling access for tenants and visitors, monitoring cameras, and reporting incidents. Requirements: 21+, 1 year security experience, valid driver’s license with clean history, HS diploma or GED, NC PPSB Security License,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum one year of security experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving history.
• High School diploma or GED.
• NC PPSB Security License required.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job (lifting 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs).

• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to deter theft and maintain safety.

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum one year of security experience required.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving history Required
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• NC PPSB Security License Required
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
