Strategic Security Corp. is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard to provide a visible security presence across government, corporate, retail, or commercial settings in Washington, PA. The role requires professionalism, situational awareness, and excellent customer service.

Weekend and evening hours apply: Saturday and Sunday 11:30am–11:30pm and Monday 5:30pm–11:30pm. Responsibilities include patrols, monitoring CCTV/alarms, access control, incident reporting, and basic first aid.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a State Unarmed Security Guard License, if required by state or local law.
• Must pass applicable state licensing tests if operating a company-owned or client-provided vehicle.
• One year of security experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow post orders and company procedures.
• Proficient basic computer skills (e.g., report writing, Microsoft Office).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Aufgaben

• Conduct routine security patrols on foot or by vehicle, as assigned.
• Observe, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
• Control entry and exit points and verify authorized access.
• Identify and address safety hazards or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; notify law enforcement or emergency services as required.
• Assist with basic first aid and emergency notifications.
• Prepare detailed written reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activity.
• Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, professional post area at all times.
