Job summary

Strategic Security Corp. is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard to maintain a visible security presence and ensure a safe environment in government, corporate, retail, or commercial settings.

The role emphasizes customer service, strong situational awareness, and professional conduct during Sunday and Monday shifts from 12pm–11pm. Responsibilities include patrols, CCTV monitoring, access control, incident reporting, and coordination with local law enforcement when needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a State Unarmed Security Guard License where required
• One (1) year of security experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including background check and drug testing as permitted by law

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols and monitor surveillance systems to deter theft and maintain safety
• Control entry/exit points and verify authorized access
• Observe and report suspicious activity with detailed logs
• Respond to incidents and emergencies and coordinate with authorities as needed
• Assist with basic first aid and safety notifications
• Provide excellent customer service and engage visitors using SSC’s GET principles
