Job summary

Strategic Security Corp. seeks an Unarmed Security Guard to provide a visible security presence and ensure a safe environment across various settings. The role emphasizes professionalism, situational awareness, and customer service.

You will patrol, monitor systems, verify access, and report incidents while maintaining a professional posture and adhering to post orders. A state license and 1 year of security experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a State Unarmed Security Guard License, if required by state or local law.
• One year of security experience is preferred.
• Verifiable work history as a security professional.
• Must pass applicable licensing tests if operating company-provided vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and random security patrols on foot or by vehicle.
• Observe, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
• Control entry and exit points and verify authorized access.
• Identify and address safety hazards or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; notify law enforcement or emergency services as required.
• Assist with basic first aid and emergency notifications.
• Prepare detailed written reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activity.
• Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and orderly post area at all times.
