Job summary

Strategic Security Corp. is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard to provide visible security, patrols, and excellent customer service in government, corporate, retail, or commercial settings.

The role requires professionalism, strong situational awareness, and the ability to complete detailed reports while following post orders and company policy. Responsibilities include patrols on foot or by vehicle, monitoring CCTV and alarms, controlling access, and liaising with law enforcement when necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a State Unarmed Security Guard License, if required by state/local law.
• Verifiable work history; minimum one year security experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot patrols and monitor surveillance systems as assigned.
• Control entry/exit points and verify authorized access.
• Observe, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious activity.
• Prepare detailed written incident and log reports.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
