Job summary

Strategic Security Corp. in the United States is hiring an Unarmed Security Guard to provide a visible security presence across government, corporate, retail, or commercial settings. The role requires professionalism, strong situational awareness, and excellent customer service, with specific Sunday-Tuesday 3:30pm-11pm shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Unarmed Security Guard License required or obtainable.
• One year of security experience preferred.
• Must pass applicable state licensing tests if operating a company-owned or client-provided vehicle.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow post orders and company procedures.
• Proficient basic computer skills (e.g., report writing, Microsoft Office).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to operate radios, telephones, and monitoring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine security patrols on foot or by vehicle, as assigned.
• Observe, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
• Control entry and exit points and verify authorized access.
• Identify and address safety hazards or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; notify law enforcement or emergency services as required.
• Assist with basic first aid and emergency notifications.
• Prepare detailed written reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activity.
• Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and orderly post area at all times.
• Support SSC’s GET Principles in customer interactions.
