Job summary

Strategic Security Corp. provides security services nationwide, including guard services, executive protection, and related investigative work.

The Unarmed Security Guard role focuses on maintaining safety and customer service across government, corporate, retail, or commercial settings. Responsibilities include patrols, surveillance monitoring, access control, incident reporting, and collaboration with law enforcement when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a State Unarmed Security Guard License, if required by state or local law.
• Must pass applicable state licensing tests if operating a company-owned or client-provided vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and random security patrols on foot or by vehicle, as assigned.
• Observe, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
• Control entry and exit points and verify authorized access.
• Identify and address safety hazards or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; notify law enforcement or emergency services as required.
• Assist with basic first aid and emergency notifications.
• Prepare detailed written reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activity.
• Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and orderly post area at all times.
