As an Unarmed Security Guard, you will conduct foot patrols, monitor surveillance, control access, and report incidents while upholding SSC’s G.E.T. Principles to greet, engage, and thank customers and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess or obtain State Unarmed Security Guard License if required by state/local law.
• Verifiable work history.
• One year of security experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and random security patrols on foot or by vehicle as assigned.
• Observe, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
• Control entry and exit points and verify authorized access.
• Identify and address safety hazards or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; notify law enforcement or emergency services as required.
• Assist with basic first aid and emergency notifications.
• Prepare detailed written reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activity.
• Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement when necessary.
