Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard for Corporate Property Management in New York. You will provide customer service, patrol assigned areas, monitor access, and respond to incidents to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

The role requires a NYS Security Guard License, basic computer/tablet comfort, and a high school diploma or equivalent. This is a full-time, unarmed position with regular daytime shifts and a focus on safety and service.

Qualifications

• Must possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other designated locations.
• Report property concerns, maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel while maintaining a professional presence.
