Job summary

Allied Universal in Spanaway, WA seeks a Security Officer Driver Customer Service Patrol to safeguard clients and property at a technology location. This unarmed patrol role requires a valid driver's license and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or facility concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, alarm panels, and/or surveillance systems in accordance with site procedures; report security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and service requests accurately in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
