Job summary

Allied Universal in Marina Del Rey, CA seeks a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol Driver Mobility) to protect clients across Retail/Malls and related facilities. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible deterrent, assist visitors, and provide excellent customer service.

This driving post requires a valid driver's license and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy. Minimum qualifications include 6 months of security experience, a HS diploma, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately while maintaining a professional presence and providing directions or assistance to shoppers and visitors.
